

This packaging project revolved around updating a classic toy, Hot Wheels into a modern yet sustainable solution that avoided cliches. Because Hot Wheels are collected by adults and children I chose to focus my efforts on creating a secondary use for the package. In this case, the tube like packaging can double as a collectable display case for the toy cars. I also redrew the Hot Wheels logo, keeping the flame aesthetic and overall shape while redrawing the letterforms to create a logotype that is new but speaks to the brand’s history.
